Sejong Scientific Instruments aims to lead the development of new products in advanced technology fields to promote the localization and self-reliance of research equipment. Founded with the mission of contributing to cutting-edge scientific research and development, Sejong Scientific Instruments specializes in optics based on nanotechnology, nanoscale motion control, and advanced electronic engineering.
We provide customized laboratory solutions for researchers at university laboratories and national research institutes seeking to develop novel research equipment that is not yet commercially available. Recently, we have developed an automated device capable of detecting and recording the positions of mechanically exfoliated flakes of 2D materials such as graphene, hBN, TMDs, and black phosphorene, which are essential for nanodevice research.
With strong support from Sejong University, which was established to honor the legacy of King Sejong—who championed scientific advancement—we are committed to contributing to the progress of science and technology in Korea. 세종과학기기는 연구용 장비의 자립화를 위해 첨단기술 분야의 신제품 개발을 선도하고자 합니다. 세종과학기기는 나노기술에 기반한 광학장치와 나노제어기술, 그리고 전자공학적 노하우를 바탕으로 첨단 과학기술 연구개발에 기여하고자 창업되었습니다. 기존에 상용화 되지 않은 연구장비를 개발하고자 하는 대학연구실 국책연구소의 연구자들을 위한 랩 솔루션을 제공하고자 합니다. 최근에 2차원 물질을 기반으로 하는 나노소자 연구를 위해서 기계적으로 박리된 그래핀, hBN, TMDs, black phospherene, 등의 플레이크를 자동 검출하고 위치를 저장하는 장치를 개발하였습니다. 과학기술 발전을 선도한 세종대왕의 뜻을 기리고자 설립된 세종대학교의 지원에 힘입어 국내 과학기술 발전에 이바지하고자 합니다.
